The least measure of a matrix set with applications

Abstract:
In this talk, we define the least measure for a matrix set. The main result is the equality relationship between the least measure and the maximum Lyapunov exponent for the corresponding switched linear systems. The implications to guaranteed stability of switched linear systems under arbitrary switching, to robust stability of polytopic uncertain linear systems, to strong stability of convex differential inclusions, and to absolute stability of Lur'e systems, are briefly discussed.
