I started my PhD studies in September 2008 and defended my thesis on November 22, 2013.

Research

I am doing research on force controlled assembly using robots with redundant degrees of freedom as part of the ROSETTA project. As a part of this project we made the following video showing automated assembly of an emergency stop button.

Ball-catching Robot

Starting as my master thesis project I have developed a robot system that catches balls and darts that are thrown toward it. You can see a video here.

 

The ball catcher was one of the demos used during the EUrobotics week in Lund 2012, where our robotics lab was open to external visitors, mostly school students. A video from the event can be found here. The video is in Swedish, but English subtitles are available through the settings i the bottom of the video frame.
