I defended my PhD thesis Joint Positioning and Multipath Radio Channel Estimation and Prediction in May 2016. The work focuses on positioning by combining motion sensor information and radio channel estimates. A state-space model is defined and estimated using a mixed linear and nonlinear particle filter. The state space model is also used for radio channel prediction and simulations and experiments show great improvmeent inpositioning compared to dead reckoning of accelerometer and gyroscope signals.
